Driving in Tirana can be a bit hectic, but once you are parked you experience great restaurants, friendly people and interesting history.

There are lots of cafeterias but NOT that many restaurants! Tirana is very spacey- wide roads, large plazas very communistic in that sense, which is nice and VERY interesting architecture.

The hotel is located in the very center of Tirana but on a quiet side street very safe also at night. The room is not big but very comfortable with cool large windows above the bed I truly enjoyed waking up looking at the city above me.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel if you travel to Tirana. The host is well-travelled around the world and knows the info about Albania very well.

He could provide suggestions for any plan you would intend to follow, which is very helpful for Albania where the info is still not widely perceived on the internet yet.

For one taxi we paid lek 19 euro from Airport to Hotel. We were there 3 days. Nice rooms and beds. Great with swimmingpool after exploring Tirana.

You can order refreshments while lying on the sunbeds. Aprox 12 - 15 min walk to city center. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the nearby.
